MKBHD In-Depth Review: the PlayStation 5

The PS5's first review is here.

MKBHD praised the PS5's overall improvement in image quality: ray-tracing, better reflections, and shadows, higher resolution and frame rate - all of these features put together dramatically improve the overall look and feel - and this is especially true in Spider-Man: Miles: you'll notice the precise shadows of the human body in multiple light directions; you can even recognize the details of buildings across the street through the reflection of water on the ground.

As an NBA 2K21 player, MKBHD said: the new game has further improved the realism of the graphics - players' hair and sweat details are more abundant, the gloss of the floor, the reflection of the lights, and players' dribbling posture are more realistic.

On the hardware level, MKBHD rates the grip highly - there's a built-in haptic system, and a trigger button with adaptive features. Your grip really lets you feel the sand when the game character is running on it, and your hands really feel the ice when the game is taking place on it - it's an amazing experience.
